No possible way City can come back, in fact, City may fall out of Europe all together.
The sky is falling.
We're getting relegated.

Has this ever happened before where the 3 top leagues seemingly have no title race this early in the season? How's Italy, is it still competitive over there?

What do you think the difference is this year?

My thoughts:

1. United has RvP. I think this is the single greatest reason Man U. are better.

2. Citeh's defense has been bad due to poor play/Joe Hart not being in top form/Mancini benching his 2nd best defender (IMHO) in Joleon "Forehead of Doom" Lescott.

3. A touch of arrogance on the part of City's players.

4. Bama Refs.
This is just off the top of my head.

Juventus 55 points +34
Napoli 50 points +25

Nazio is in third with 44, but only a 9+.

RvP isn't the reason. Nor is anyone at United. The reason is that City isn't a championship team this season.

This is not as entertaining, but this is why the American playoff system is wack. United deserves this title like the undefeated Patriots.

No need for playoffs if the best team is obvious.

Even if it is close, the table format can be awesome. Last season was probably the most exciting thing I've ever witnessed on sports.

I love tables, but playoffs have their merits. I wish people still valued regular season success more.

People buy into stupid narratives and only care who wins the title. The 2007 Patriots are still the best football team ever IMO. They should be lauded for their accomplishments that year.

PSG have a six point lead, but Lyon has a game in hand.

OL is home against a midtable Lille today. I would say the race is pretty close.

One of my arguments against playoffs is match ups. The best team might struggle with one team in the league. That doesn't mean they aren't the best team.

Well, if we're being serious, then City isn't the reason. It's a complex combination of all sorts of things.

I'd agree City being worse than last season is the biggest reason.

PSG took the outright lead last week, and they've already played this week. It has been close.
