KLinsmann has done well at extending the pool but he's a fricking moron tactically
This has been one lauded as one of Klinsmann's positives.... so I looked....
In 23 games, Klinsmann has "used" 63 players (combination of played + made the bench).
In Bradley's first 23 games, he "used" 74 players.
(I couldn't find reliable information to go back to Arena's first 23 games.)
Now, you could make an argument for quality (Ante Razov, Joshua Gros, Kerry Zavagnin, Jesse Marsch, Pat Noonan
) but it's not like Klinsmann hasn't thrown some clunkers on the field (Lest I remind you of the LOLrentowicz experiment...).
It appears that "expanding the player pool" appears to be another Klinsmann myth.
