Like a talented player whose leg could break at any moment.

He actually didn't drive with the ball as much as we are used to seeing. But he did have some nice bursts and his passing was really good.

you could tell that hes taking a moment here and there to make a decision on whether to bang in on a challenge, making more matured decisions which is great. definitely had some bursts forward and controlled the ball well in the center.

great to think if he could stay healthy and return to form, how young he is still.

Ramsey up top instead of Ozil. Interesting.

I'm cool with that. Give Ramsey less responsibility and let him make some runs that Xhaka can hit.

Yikes, Mustafi once again... very poor start to the season from him.

When we turn the ball over we ball watch initially instead of busting a gut to get back on defense.

Not just the effort, but in Mustafi's case he keeps getting caught out of position, or getting burned trying to play an attacker offsides.

Yea I didn't mean just the effort put in. Watching us play defensively you can tell that we don't react quickly to counters because we aren't drilled to. Our players first instinct should be to run back and help cover each other so we don't have so much 1v1 defending to do.

Out defenders are caught out of position constantly. It's been like this for at least a decade. While I agree it's Mustafi's error no matter who we play at CB they make the same errors. No structure or discipline.

Geez this is getting tiresome, how many times do we need to get caught out on a counter for something to change? Thank goodness for Monreal's great individual effort to deny the goal.

Unbelievable defending by Nacho. And I'm with you. I've seen this same exact movie too many times.

I think we got lucky with that Penalty, I could see that going either way.

eta: just realized we haven't won away from home yet this season
