Shelvey was a boss today. Can't believe Chelsea gave him so much space all game long.

I'll take it. Jonjo was great. Picked up from where he left off last year. Gomis needs to bury those chances going forward though

Montero is pure danger. So fun to watch

Yeah he played great. Really upset Ki and Montero are both hurt, I hope its nothing long term as they are two of my favorite players and I was expecting this to be a good year for Montero

my only complaint besides the bullshite deflection OG was Gomiss. Yeah he drew and scored the pk but he also gave up the foul that lead to the first Chelsea goal(we were down to 10men at that time). But even more so I am pissed that he cannot score in the run of play. He had a lot of great chances but couldn't finish and the one time he does he was offside, the guy is cursed or something.

Gomis has always been a frustrating player.

He's good, but any winger with pace looks world class going against Ivanovic.

Routledge didn't look as good, Montero is something else

You could say that about a number of players on that team.

Hate Oscar, perfect example was when he was elbowed and laid on the ground at midfield, btw he got elbowed in the face made a pass then fell down,
Ayew got elbowed, cut and was bleding never went to the ground and got patched up quick and got back on.

Costa is a punk too but I love seeing him get mad

At least Costa has a mean villainous streak. The elbow play with Oscar was exactly the straw that broke the camels back for me

We resigned Tremmel for some unknown reason yesterday. Pretty odd move

Another great result today. Controlled that game from the start. Jonjo really thriving in that deep lying role. Also if we could end every game against 10 it wouldn't hurt

Some stats from Saturday:

Daniel Gabbidon ?@Gabbidon35 Aug 15
Ashley Williams completed 102 of his 105 passes today, giving him a pass completion rate of 97.14%. (via @TheSwanseaWay) ?? #SWANEW

Only Ashley Williams (116) & Fede Fernandez (110) had more touches today than Jonjo Shelvey (104). #Baller #Tempo #Heartbeat

I was only able to watch the first half and a little of the second but what I saw we played great and even though they got a red it looked like we would no problem.

I freaked out when Gomiss put that goal away, I though for sure he would find a way to frick it up. Jon Jo is playing lights out, in both games he sent amazing through balls to Gomiss. gylfi is not playing his best but with Jon Jo playing this good its ok. Gylfi was really close to getting a great goal though.

Montero is really coming into his own. he was shitting all over Jammat and he had no answer for Montero except to keep fouling him and then got the red. He also got close to a goal but hit the post as well, his assist was great though

I haven't really seen anything great from Ayew but he keeps scoring goals so im fine with that.

If this starting 11 can stay healthy we will finish 4th.

Yeah Jonjo pulling the strings back there has been great. Playing the "sliderule" passes to Gomis in these first 2 games. Great composure and finish on his goal

Jeff is a nightmare to defend. His real test on how he has grown will come when he faces a FB that can run with him like Kyle Walker. But so far he's been nothing but a menace

Gyfli has been quiet but we haven't asked much of him yet. I also think in the first 2 games teams have focused more on denying him the ball which has opened up lanes for Jonjo and Jeff

Ayew has been great. Great work rate on both ends of the field and clinical in front of goal so far. If he can pitch in with about 10 goals this season that will go a very long way

Shitty Sunderland up next so this should be another 3 points this weekend. They have looked terrible

haha with the way both teams have been playing I agree but im still nervous because you never really know, maybe we will get a red card this time.
I want to get out to 2 goal early lead and then we can sub on Eder and some of the younger guys.

Ki should be fit right? is that Modou Barrow guy on the team or did they loan him?

Just saw we signed another young player from Falkrk Botti Biabi
He needs to start growing dreads if he ever wants to play in the first team
