I just want to know why they thought it was a good idea to make them speak in thick accents using words half of us have never heard of or used, (realistic I suppose, but tone it down) and then have them speak at the same time, making it even more unintelligible

I'm pretty sure it's the UK ad, where everyone can understand them. ESPN has most of the rights to the BPL in England, IIRC.
They just air it in the states. I am usually pretty good at deciphering some of this stuff but i'll admit I had to watch the translated version too haha.
