was on a spanish channel? I figured it might at least be in English tonight with some of the commentators and "experts".

Even freakin' Landon was speaking in spanish pre-game.

Can anyone imagine any other US league or sport not having some kind of "event" that attracts viewers to the fact that the league actually has started? I don't know, use that ESPN2/Fox triple header to kick the league off right?

ETA - apparently an English feed was available (not that it was apparent on Cox).

See my post in other thread, Directv gave me English feed with no effort. It was glorious, MLS got something right.

(Well i guess Univision deserves the credit.)

I actually enjoyed the interviews in spanish as i can somewhat understand the Americans speaking spanish.

Landon is notorious for being able to speak Spanish. It's part of why his domination of Mexico was so hilarious

I thought that MLS did a great job directing people to instructions for English-language commentary. Of course, they didn't work for many people, including me

Brought me back to the ESPN Spanish-only La Liga broadcasts

ETA: This was a great example why most cable providers suck at providing soccer coverage vs. providers like DirecTV. Going to get great satisfaction from switching providers when I'm no longer forced to pay for a basic Comcast bundle.

Not an option. I don't know if its a cox issue or what.

Even giving them a pass for that - still a really bad idea to kick your season off on a channel few would stumble across and a lot of people cant get in english.

Can you imagine antother sport in the US doing this? Or another league around the world doing this?

Plus i put Mickey Mouse gifs - I figured you would be on board with me
