I'm getting some new cleats on Soccer.com soon and I was wondering if anyone thinks I should go with Firm Ground (FG) or Soft Ground(SG). SG has studs. All the players at the World Cup and in any league pretty much always wear SG.

I normally play on the UREC field at LSU and at Burbank. What do you guys recommend? I have like 3 pairs of FG's already. Would SG hold up on Burbank or am I better off just sticking with FG?

Playing on the fields you do, I'd go with FG.

You should definitely go with firm ground unless you're usually playing in deep grass.

I remember when I was a kid, some other kids thought they were cool because they had "screw-ins." The only time you need those cleats on the fields that we plan on is in the rain.
