I'm going to start off with some blatant homerism by sharing the American goals from this weekend.

Yedlin scored his first goal for Newcastle in a win over Derby county in the Championship (aka tGOATpionship featuring Leads and Fulhamerica).

Bobby Wood scored his second goal in as many Bundesliga games for new club HSV (which does not stand for Herpes Simplex Virus).

Keeping with our American theme, Jozy Altidore keeps scoring for fun in MLS.

As far as other goals I saw this week that were pretty good, I was perusing MLS highlights and saw the ones from New England vs Man City Lite. It features a nice touch and shot from Juan $wAgudelo as well as some really nice team goals from both NE and NYCFC, as well as a decent one from Diego Fagundez (USMNT career RIP).

Didn't get to watch any soccer this weekend because of work unfortunately ( ) but maybe we can share some awesome goals from whatever leagues y'all watch.

Deathly afraid that he is about to get injured again, right before Columbus... You know it's coming.

I really liked how casual and calm this finish was by Son.

When he is at his best, he has the ability to dominate a match at almost any level. If he and Bobby Wood can form an effective partnership up top, it will be Jozy/Davies 2.0. Except with a better Jozy and a better player in Wood than CD. IMO the Jozy/Wood/Pulisic combo may give our national team the potential to produce some of its best attacking play in a damn long time. Fingers crossed big time.

Kljestan has looked pretty good in that setup. Wood and Altidore need a few more games to get some chemistry. I'm not sure any tandem will reach the swag of Davies and Altidore.
