They are going to have to take down the sign at the airport now.

If Kaka has anything left, they've got a nice spine to build around with Hall, Collin, Okugo, and Kaka.

We traded both Collin and Sapong? What?

Why get rid of Okugo? He's one of the few versatile players.

What would you do if SKC brought in Jermaine and then added Donovan as a youth coach?

Houston got two backups for Driver and 4th round pick. I guess that's good?

Would Donovan be considered a good coach? If so, I would be for it. I would take Jones, but not at his current price.

Collin: His contract was expiring and he wanted more money than what we wanted to pay him. Opara could start in his place (or Palmer-Brown, for a while) or we will sign someone new. I think what we have at CB is suitable for the time, though.

Sapong: Probably would have been unprotected in the expansion draft and possibly taken, so it is better to get something for him. Plus, he hasn't done a ton for us the past year or two.

I like the Bernardo Añor signing. Played a lot for Columbus last year (started 18 games, appeared in 27 I believe) and scored 6 goals from the midfield, so if he can provide the same production for us this year I will be happy, since we desperately need another goal threat. 6 isn't a lot of goals, I know, but would have been 2nd on the team this season. Left-sided player, so it will be interesting to see if he is played as a winger or midfielder.

Isn't he making the move to Juve? They're going to loan him back?

Driver really fell off after his first season here.

Driver wasn't going to be back next season as the team declined his option so they got two players for his rights and a worthless draft pick.

Great, Orlando has picked up some MLS starters. Its actually a decent haul this early.

But I don't get the comparison - Isn't NYC going to pick up a bunch of City's scrubs?? Why would they feel the need to go all out for other MLS players?
