Wouldn't it be funny if all these Rodgers expensive flops become great buys under klopp?

Yes it would be, except EVERYBODY knows Lovren is about as useful as a poopy flavored lollipop, no matter the manager. That one will never turn out great. He started the first match of the year off great, then quickly returned to crappy form. Buying that guy will sting for a while.

I'm not too worried about his last year. They were completely decimated by injuries, and lost a lot of good players. He developed so much young talent to keep the cupboard stocked every year but operating in a club where your players leave so often will always come back to bite you. He probably needed his last year to revamp the squad again. Unfortunately he missed on those forwards and it hurt. We may run into the same issue with him after 3 years but I'd rather deal with the off 7th place every few years than ditch him because our players set sail for more prestigious pastures.

I was checking the team store and I don't think they have a down gilet offering.

They better make a custom run pronto. His sideline style is tops in the business.

Such a badass.

Don't know why, but this one is stuck in my head right now. Oddly enough, seems sort of appropriate?

so, i've been out of the loop about LSU/Liverpool/Saints, etc, for about a week... just moved into a new house, had to wait for cable service, and in the mean time, my son was born on the 4th.... been a little busy, while also not having service...

so what's been happening with the club??

The second biggest thing to happen to you this week.

You didn't happen to name your son Klopp did you?

Interview

quote:

"At this moment, the LFC family is a little bit too nervous... a little bit too pessimistic... a little too in doubt... it's a great atmosphere in the games but it's not - They don't believe in this moment. They want to see something great, 5 years ago, 10 years ago, 15 years ago. History is great, but it's only to remember. Now we have the possibility to write a new story"

quote:

We have to change, from doubters to believers.

No telling where this will end but really looking forward to the ride.

My favorite quote so far...

quote:

Yeah, that’s the best thing! But not during the 90 minutes – that will be the most difficult thing for me, the two benches being so close. It’s so different to Germany – you could accidently hit the other coach or manager. I get a little bit emotional during a game!
