Really disappointed. Hurting right now. Someone convince me it'll be ok.

We lost 1-0 to a team who have conceded ONCE in all of home EL competitions. it took them 90+ minutes to break us down and we didn't play with a real striker.
I'm coming around to us being okay.

Jurgen Klopp is our manager

I went into it expecting a 1-0 loss. Think we were playing for 0-0. Not the worst thing in the world. Just sucks the way it happened.

Yeah, I feel like I was frustrated more than disappointed.
Result was not entirely unexpected, got it all to play for in the 2nd leg: Hope we see Cou, Studge and Lallana in the XI, think Firmino needs a break

Villarreal is a very good side, and expertly managed, but Liverpool should have a good day on the return leg.
Honestly.
Honestly.

I think its come down to the fact that we've had to replace our entire spine in the last few weeks.
Best CB
Our two CMs
"starting" striker (I consider Origi the starter since he started the bigger games recently).
Playing 3 in the midfield yesterday plus no striker - and knowing that Kolo doesn' thave the legs to really get after it. He was playing for the draw on the away leg. I'm not even sure he's that upset with 1-0 down. I would have liked to have seen Studge come on at '60 or so, or maybe at the half for Cou, but Klopp made the decisions and went his way.

I was pissed when my phone buzzed and showed a goal at 90+2, but In Klopp I Trust. I don't understand it, but I trust he knows what he's doing.

FYI: Fer and Paloschi out. That means Gomis will probably start up top. I made need to drink heavily

Yáll shoud be OK. Villarreal is a solid, strong side, but they are a bolt and press side. The fact that they held on, and pulled a result out of their arse bodes well, albeit yáll don´t see it as so.
Marcelino is one of the best in the game, and he´s getting water out of rocks. I think the return leg will be too much for Villarreal.
I may be wrong, and hope not, but I see it as such.
Liverpool should pass.

This guy...
He is kinda alright.
I tend to agree. I think Klopp played for the draw and lost on it.
I don't think Villareal will be able to hold up with Studge running around, but I want to see Ojo at some point in combo.

Ward the one bright spot... Chiravella is having a terrible match so far..

This may be the worst performance I have ever seen..
we can't string together 2 passes... defending is god awful...

No one's really playing well, but jeez, Chirivella and Stewart are getting worked over.
Doesn't help that we're giving the ball away in very bad positions

Skrtel and Lovren as a CB pairing is embarrassingly bad...
