Joyce with some updates (he's pretty reliable)

We're talking with S'Hampton about Mane since Gotze's rejection...

Dahoud is first choice to add to midfield

Chilwell negotiations ongoing

Not that I don't think Mane wouldn't do ok here - but he's not consistent at all, and we'll pay an arm and a leg for him.

Admittedly, I don't watch a lot of him... but when I do (like against us), he's been fantastic... we need someone with pace...

I agree he'll probably cost a lot..

I love Mane. He does have a reputation for being inconsistent. But then again so did Lallana, Lovren, Allen, and Sakho. The price may be too steep though.

No idea if this is true, but L'Equipe (via This is Anfield) is reporting Sakho will face no further ban..

Would be huge..

Glad he would have missed our biggest match for nothing.

yep, though in fairness... Toure was probably our best player on that day... point still stands..

If what they are saying is true, and the substance isn't on the banned list, thats just incomprehensible... its on the list or it isn't?!?!

Sakho faces no further banning from UEFA and could be in France's euro squad

I think it's more of a suspended sentence while they figure out if it's really banned. "Scientific evidence" that it's not really banned?

Probably good news but it's also possible they suspend him later.

With how strict they are about this stuff I'd be floored if this wasn't already done and dusted. UEFA are not the type to lift a ban unless they know it won't be permanent. If there was any indication at all that this stuff was a legitimately illegal substance the ban would stay in place.

Please let this be true... I was so bummed the ICC games were both in California, I wanted to make the trip but couldn't justify the cost.

STL would be far more manageable

Pretty sure this will still be a hot ticket. Man city v Chelsea sold out in just over an hour 2 years back, and there's probably move Liverpool fans in stl than city and Chelsea combined.

Psg inquiring about Cou according to Joyce. Keep your hands off our little magician!

Seriously though I think we need to not sell our best talents each year.

Read that earlier as well. I hate bigger clubs, but I think its obvious it would take a kings ransom to pry Cou from Meyerside. Do not want Mane, unless he his price tag is a true bargain, but I highly doubt he will be. He was rather inconsistent this season and Id prefer to spend the big money this window where needed.

I think our midfield is much more creative than theirs. He'd flourish at Anfield. And we desperately need a wide player, so this is a position that needs addressing.

I hate selling our best players, but I'd sell Coutinho if PSG was offering stupid money...
