Both Dave Maddock and John Cross reporting we have approached Arsenal regarding Ox. It's happening. Cross is good with Arsenal news and Maddock isn't bad with Liverpool.

frick all that. There are reports of us having approached Monaco for permission to talk to Mbappe. No fricking way. I'd lose my mind, get the liverbird tattooed an appendage if that happened.

1. Mbappe doesn't want to play for Liverpool.

2. Gabrielle Marcotti at ESPN FC reports at the following link that German media says that Liverpool have an agreement in principle with Keita and Keita wants to move to Liverpool. It all depends on Leipzig now, whether or not they want to sell and be reasonable.

Mbappe doesn't know what he wants. Kid is like 18. I didn't know what I wanted to do when I was 18. I still don't know.

But long story short. It seems we are serious. Let's let Klopp have a chat with the kid and see if he can convince him. Madrid might be too soon for him yet.

Hopefully the Keita news is true and Leipzig budge.

On a different note - DByrd you in Palmdale? Never noticed until now. We're in Long Beach. Thinking about moving north. Can't stand this part of town anymore. Drove through your town on our way to Mammoth a month or so ago.

Lancaster/Palmdale area is pretty decent. Not sure how old you are... there isn't much to do around here, but with that said there is a metric shite ton of things to do within a day trip from here. I love it. Everything I need shopping-wise is very close by, and almost everything I could ever want to do is 3 hrs or less away.

I will say, though, if you choose to move up this way, stay on the east or west side of either town. All of the crime tends to be in the middle within a mile or two of the Hwy 14 corridor.

I live on the Far East side of town and haven't so much as had a police car in my neighborhood for two years because there isn't crime in my area.

It's good to know there are fellow SB 'Pool supporters nearby!

Yeah, there's a lot of truth to this... I'm almost 27 now and just finally sort of settling into what I want to do with my life.

I think the gist of our interest is - "if he's open to an England move, we want to be part of the conversation."

Mbappe knows if he moves to Madrid now, he's sitting on the bench and the team will not be built around him. Word Cup coming up next summer.

But...he may want to continue developing. A coach like Klopp could offer the best of both worlds - step up in competition, team is able to be suited more towards him, and a coach who has a track record of developing attacking players.

From Liverpool's side - its all about whether we think the transfer fee is worth 4-5 years of a guy projected to be that good, and if he's able to be sold for similar or higher value should he attain that level.

I agree... I think the odds are highly against him ever playing for LFC, but you gotta try..

Who knows, maybe Klopp's history of developing young players and now that we're in UCL...

I think we may need a few years of sustained success.. regular UCL and challenging for titles, before we can go after those type of players...

Madger..

I don't know much about him other than he's only been with us a couple of years... couldn't really get a game for the U23s last season, though he did have a knee injury...

Duckenfield

I would not have wanted to be in his shoes that day in 1989.. It was a recipe for disaster..

But all the negligence and especially lies and cover ups, could have prevented a lot of the injustice and helped the community heal years before it did..

I'm happy for the families that justice and hopefully some sort of closure has prevailed..

Seeing several reports (though nothing 100% concrete, just several corroborations) that we have agreed in principle to wage and contract length terms with Naby Keita.

Deal is currently believed to be right around £70M.

Liverpool are ready to test RB Leipzig’s resolve over top midfield-target Naby Keita.

Money-bags Leipzig insist they do not want to sell the £70million-rated Keita on the back of his excellent first season in the Bundesliga.

Chief executive Oliver Mintzlaff claims it would be “irresponsible” to cash in on the Guinea international before their first Champions League campaign.

Liverpool want to discover if Leipzig and Mintzlaff’s talk is just bluster and are keen to open talks over a fee.

I know teams not named Man City or United or the big London clubs have budgets, but for some reason I can't make myself care about "overspending" for a kid like this. I think he would be deadly under Klopp.

I wants him, precious!
