Steven Goff says that USSF is in the process of scheduling 2 friendlies in November (USSF, including Sunil, will field questions on Friday).

So, let's try to put some of this sting behind us. Looking for some positivity. What/who/were do we want to see next month?

God, those friendlies are going to suck knowing we're playing some team that will be going to Russia.

Should be nice seeing all of the young up and comers play. Time for Weston McKennie, Evan Horvath, Josh Sargent

Might could use a break after the U17 WC.

Not enough professional experience, does him no good to give him run with the senior team when he hasn't even made his professional debut yet.

Can we setup a friendly with Panama and then call in nothing but mls goons and just murder the shite out of them?

Well if Sargent doesn't get a call who they gonna call? Beasley, Howard and the rest of the old farts who won't be around in two years for qualifing? Better get the youngsters ready for 2-4 years from now. It's a friendly. Does no good playing the same old MLS trash. That's another thing. Judging by Bruce's comments, after the match, it seems as though he thinks everything is peachy and we can win with 95% of the roster being MLS players. I think bringing him in from the Galaxy he wanted to prove we could make it, and win matches, in the WC with MLS players. Seems like a PR move that bit him in the arse in the end. Hell, England can't even win with an entire squad of Premiere League players. No way we are going to get anywhere fielding MLS players....

There are other options, preferably guys who are actually playing professionally

At the same time, you don't want to call up someone that isn't even with a professional club.

Who cares unless they call up the future stars?

Like when we called up Julian Green in 2014?

Worked out well for him.

There's a difference between calling up future stars and calling up a guy that has never played a professional match and has never even been with a professional club. Want to call up guys like McKennie, Adams, and Wright? Go ahead. However, Sargent doesn't deserve it yet.

No, but you cant blame his development on that.

Guys that are 20-24 need to play together. There is no need in playing Bradley, Howard, or anyone of the other "old" guys in thwas to friendlies. Let Miazga and Acosta get some more action.

You still want some of those guys in the camp.

Well I'm glad I said future stars and not guys that have never played a professional match before. Didnt really mean the babies. Meant play the core group that is 20-24 or so and not the 33 year olds.

We have to figure out who is going to replace Bradley/Cameron/Howard/Dempsey.

Doesn't mean they have to play in these friendlies. Keep them around for leadership, but lets see what we got in these games that mean jack shite.
