It's gonna take a lot to drag it away from us.

So, like, how much $$ would you consider "a lot?"

Lol if anyone is interested, the comments on r/soccer are pretty ridiculous. It's a bunch of European fairies saying they hope Morocco gets it because the game times aren't ideal for the federation that will send the most representatives

What are they going to do? Have Moshni punch Gulati in the face?

FIFA is so corrupt right now that it wouldn't shock anyone if they gave it to Morocco. I mean these idiots let Qatar win the stupid thing. FIFA is literal trash if they don't move it.

I don't think even FIFA would pass up a combined North American World Cup hosted by the region's economic superpowers. The 94 World Cup still holds attendance records. Now with how much soccer has grown in America and Canada, those records would be shattered in 2026.

Nothing should surprise us with FIFA's corruption, but I'd bet my house North America gets the 2026 World Cup. The fact that we're bidding with two huge neighbors helps our cause. I'd be more worried if it were just us bidding alone.

It probably wouldn't break the per-game attendance record because many NFL stadiums are smaller now (ex: Detroit, Chicago). With the extra games in the whole tournament, it would destroy the total attendance record.
