I have just watched Martin O'Neill wear headphones, at the Super Bowl, converse about a sport he's never heard of. My life is complete.

UK TV using Martin O'Neill as a pundit. Brits can never take the piss out of American soccer coverage ever again.

Martin O'Neill was an international and top flight football player.

Martin O'Neill won a First Division title and two European Cups with Nottingham Forest.

Martin O'Neill is a successful manager, winning two League Cups with Leicester City and three Scottish Premier League titles with Celtic.

Martin O'Neill has just led the Republic of Ireland to Euro 2016.

Martin O'Neill is a fan of American Football.

Does that mean that Martin O'Neill should have been in the BBC studio during their coverage of Super Bowl 50 as a pundit.

Absolutely yes.

What followed from O'Neill was superb. His headphones kept falling down his face. He revealed the whole Irish squad were at the game as a treat. He even compared Cam Newton to Roy Keane.
