Minnesota officially in for 2017 season, keeps 'United'

Just announced at their unveiling that they will keep 'Minnesota United FC', contrary to reports that they'd be required to drop it. They'll play at TCF Bank Stadium while their stadium is being built.

I agree with the decision to allow them to keep the name United. Their stadium looks very impressive and will be right in an established neighborhood, next to a rail transit line. I look forward to seeing this club in MLS.

Good deal. Have a bunch of work buddies up in MSP, so this will be a good time for all of us. Glad MLS gave up their shite and let them keep the name.

When does New Orleans get their team? Can't stand all these scrub cities getting teams before us.

I imagine MLS will get into the regional cities pretty soon now that most of the major cities are in
