No little peepee

No Dos Santos

No Aquino

Essentially, , they are going into a world cup playoff without their three best offensive threats?

Claim it was because of the travel fatigue of getting to Mexico, ajusting, and then getting to New Zealand.

But I'm thinking it also has something to do with the coach calling 10 of his Club America players to the team too

It's bazaar. They've called up players from Europe to play all over the world for years. The South American countries have won World Cups using European based players.

They gave up two goals to fricking Finland in Mexico two days ago, New Zealand could very well pull it off.

Thought it was San Diego, but maybe your point still stands.

I can understand having to make special arrangements for guys that will have to adjust quickly to three vastly different time-zones in such a short period, but you have a couple of days to do it - its not like you play the next freaking day. And fine, call them up, and only use them in one leg - maybe alternate them - one or two in New Zealand and one or two in Mexico?

And then to call 10 of his own players from his recent club team?

Well I think this manager is on trial like the last 2. This federation is pretty much a joke.

Apparently after the Finland match, Herrera said that he expects New Zealand to be a lesser challenge.

They are really setting themselves up for failure and I love it.

They're playing the home leg during the day to maximize shittiness to New Zealand. Those players will be used to it.

It's a pretty batshit strategy, but something needed to change.
