Lol is that why Neville (I think his kid went to spain with him though), RVP (whose kid I know is now in Turkey with him) and Fletcher's kids play/played for them?

Has Gundogan played yet for City or is this his debut?

He was great against Monchengladbach.

Appeared that he hadn't missed a beat.

Nah their kids were told no thanks, just b.c you played here doesn't mean your kids can play here.

But yea those kids are not even in the youth set up anymore

He makes that midfield legit. Seriously, if he stays healthy then City probably runs away with the title.

Honestly you have to be cut through. Even Andy Cole's kid got told no. He was a staple in the City set up and is now fricking around at Fleetwood town.

Our issue is we got lazy and just assumed our academy is hot shite and no one will catch us. We are still top notch getting our young kids out there but if we actually gave a shite the results would have been better

Will be interesting to see how he adapts to the English game.

Won't be an issue. The English game = slower processing midfielders and antiquated tactics. Pep's already 5 steps ahead of most managers in that league. As long as some goon doesn't just hack him down for fun, he'll dominate.

Pulisic, Wood, Chandler and Morales all starting today.

Could see Fab and Bacon in late game.

But the pace, lack of space, lack of time and combativeness in midfield might give him an issue.

antiquated tactics

Thats changing.

Would like to hear Ray Hudson call a flea flicker. Just once. Then never again.

There's not a lack of space. Space can be created pretty easily and City has done it well already in the few games I've watched them play.

I don't really want to know the type of shite he'd talk about with all of the dead time in college football

He was about to talk about his trip to Napa with George Best during some meaningless summer friendly a couple of years ago
