No problems. It's good to see more City fans here.

Just don't be surprised if they hit a rough patch and SCH has 10 pages of your early season quotes ready to go haha.

Plus there's still Navas...

The Lukaku offside call was bs,
Apparently, you're the one with the excuses. He was off. Everton got outplayed and lost. It happens.

Watch it again, I'll wait.

No excuse. A bad call is a bad call.

I've seen it. You're wrong. He's off. If you want to use it to excuse your team's loss, go ahead. It's just silly. Everton didn't deserve a result, and so they didn't get one.

City have to meet a homegrown rule. Don't act surprised when they have to buy a player that is not good enough to make the starting 11 consistently or when they vastly overpay for a player that is capable of playing consistently. No one is fooling themselves that City have a sufficient academy. That will take time so in the mean time they have to sign the Delph's and Sinclair's of the world. City are just playing the hand they are dealt while their Academy and the quality of English players catches up.

Watch it again. He was onside. The commentators at NBC even agreed.
One goal probably wouldn't have made the difference, but a bad call is a bad call. It doesn't matter what color you wear.

You already did last week and probably today too.

Well the refs ever let one stand? That remains to be seen.

Let me rephrase, will there ever be a number other than zero on the scoreboard for our opponents?

I won't complain about luck!

He likely already has 20 haha.

Isco in James out.....I wonder if this is to help satisfy Isco or if we are seeing Rafa's true top XI today (minus Benzema for Jese)

Either way I love this lineup and strategy.....I just hope all the usual suspects buy in and perform. Bale always says his best spot is roaming behind the striker now he just has to show it.....he didn't convince me in preseason. It's going to be a tough 1st half for him if he doesn't perform.....and an interesting winter window.

ETA In any event....HALA FRICK ING MADRID.....great to start another season.

Saw someone say that Rafa said that James wasn't match fit yet since he arrived to preseason later than everyone else

Ah that makes sense......feels weird though he played in what 3 friendlies over about 3-4 weeks....I certainly don't pretend to know what it takes to get fit for that much damn running though.....probably a helluva lot more than that.

This one's tough... I want Rafa to do well, but Real to lose...

Also, need to tune in to Stevie G. vs Fat Frank! Lazy Sunday

edit: Fatty isn't in the squad.. oh well..

Why is Danilo starting over Carvajal? I like Carvajal a lot.
