M8 I love Messi too but let's not act like Pele, Maradona ( ), both Ronaldo's, di Stefano, and Cruyff don't exist

By far my favorite comment in this thread, because it's grounded in the belief that winning the Euros is "winning it all" and that Messi's biggest stage of his career was a fake Copa America final.

I was trolling. Messi and Ronaldo are both badass. I wish I was as good at anything as those two are at soccer.

Winning the Euros...after finishing third in your group by drawing every game, and then winning the worst tournament of the past decade on a goal by a failed Swansea player, when he was taken off injured early in the first half.

By Messi's tame standards, this is a gangsta celebration.

I think since we're talking about individuals and not teams... its fair to point out that Ronaldo wasn't even on the pitch (for the most part)in that final... not that he didn't contribute to them getting there...

I agree, both great players, but Messi for me... never really saw any of those other dudes play...

In Madrid, it's totally a HOLD MY DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII celebration. Love it, and I'd lean #TeamRonaldo in this pissing contest.

The two have combined to win a handful of champions league trophies and ballon d'ors but, nah, we're going to judge them on the Euros and fake Copa America.

The fact that Argentina hasn't won a trophy in 24 years is frankly embaressing given the teams they have had

I'm calling shenanigans, clearly Ramos has a clause in his contract where he gets a big bonus if he gets a red card in El Clasico matches.
