Crazy to see the best team ever assembled not even score a goal in the quarters of the Champions League.

For once, Neymar's theatrics actually stemmed from real contact
But because he's the boy who cried wolf ten thousand times, a foul was not even given. I love it!
ETA: Who's that in the pic?

Something has been off with Messi since the Copa final last year... I think that loss really fricked him up.
Na stuff like that doesn't phase players like him IMO. I would be willing to bet he's had more devastating losses than in the final of a made up tournament played in the US.
Could be showing early signs of a decline. He's 29 now. That's not old by any means, but he has been playing consistently for Barca since he was 17 right? It kind of reminds me of Lebron in the sense that he's never really a had a major injury so he has played a ton of games since his debut. Barcelona go deep in every competition they are in. The matches and minutes pile up before you know it.

Do you not remember the amount of pressure that was put on him in the lead up for that? All the talk about not winning the World Cup and 2015 Copa finals. And after Chile won on penalties, there were those shots of Messi in tears... first time I had ever seen that type of emotion from him.
And then he led that temporary mass exodus from the AFA.
Discount that tournament methods all you want, but it definitely took a lot out of him and he hasn't been the same player since.

Well, they couldn't score against Malaga either.

Agreed a Monaco juve final would be akin to a Rockies devil rays World Series
