Going to have football lines on the field for tonight's Sounders-Timbers match.

The Special One still has 0 wins at Newcastle. That's fricking pathetic.

I'm sure his multiple Portugese, English, Italian, Spanish league titles, 2 Champions League titles, and countless other cup trophies will help help him rest a little easier tonight.

In his 10-11 years as a manager he has more real trophies than Newcastle does in 121.

Someone said something about pathetic?

eh, he only has one La Liga title. Happy to see him break the hegemony, but to be honest, disgusted with the fashion in which he did it.

I didn't mean multiple in each league.

By breaking the all time goal scoring record for Madrid? The shame!

Outside of his 2 free kicks, Dempsey looks slow and disinterested.

He doesn't look that bad.. Tough to play with GAM who's not any use outside of headers, he kills buildups and runs with his inability to play 1-2 touch passing.
Dempsey was running the show and pulling the strings for SEA vs Colorado the other night.

Touché. To be honest, I was amazed. It´s not all about reading the byline, however. It was not pretty.

I think Ancelotti´s got a good idea going on, he may not be able to see his project out, if you listen to the Spanish press.

Flo supposedly contracted him to develop a project, but Flo is unpredictable.

There are already rumors that Ancelotti has been talking with a Serie A side (I´d imagine that´s AC Milan), and that Klopp will be brought in.

Anyway, I can see this Madrid going far in CL, and I can also see them crashing out.

They are not solid, but they can score goals like it´s a practice session.

Outside of their games against Barcelona where they were predictably dominated in midfield, they were hardly negative. This was the year after the Pepe experiments. They beat the living frick out of people in 2011-2012. They regressed last year when Mourinho seemed to cave to criticism and appeared to become obsessed with the Champions League, sacrificing continuity for depth (injuries didn't help).

Ancelotti hadn't even figured out how he wanted the team to look a month ago. It'd be awful if he was forced out at the end of this year.

They need time to come together defensively. Going forward, they resemble 2011-2012 Real Madrid more than last year's iteration.

I remember a lot of shite. Don´t get me wrong, I´m simply anti Mourinho, archi known already of course, but I´ll research all the results of his time in Madrid now.

This is primordial, at Real Madrid.

I agree. I think Flo is nervous for results, nervous to keep his position, but I´m under the belief that he brought in Ancelotti for an overhaul and implantation of a new program, with a new group of players. Flo´s under a lot of fire from other club members, and this could endanger Ancelotti´s position.

They do.
