Disgusting. Celebrating the loss of human life at a sporting event is as disgraceful as it gets. Some people take rivalries too personally, and they lose sight of what's important in life.

Actions like this are completely inexcusable regardless of what fan base it is. These types of chants have no place in football.

Come on now. The acts of a few don't bring down one of the biggest clubs on the planet.

Disgusting.

It probably means nothing, but I can't say how much this hurts me as a fan of this club. Fans like this don't deserve to be associated with Manchester United.

Our manager, team and many of our fans have shown sympathy and support for LFC in regards to Hillsborough.

Please don't paint with a broad brush, Pool fans...just know this is a pocket of fringe lunatics. I am ashamed like many other United fans and deeply angered.

If it's the chant that I think it is that chant was created as a response to LFC's handling of the Suarez incident. That supporters of LFC feel that the chant relates to Hillsborough speaks volumes about LFC. Not once have I ever heard a United supporter mocking the deaths that occurred that day. I can't say the same about the supporters of LFC. There were airplane impersonations today and I have yet to hear any of you sanctimonious sob's condemn those actions. I would be amongst the first to criticize our supporters if there were direct references to Hillsborough. When supporters of LFC begin to criticize groups like the Spirit of Shankly I may take them seriously.

How about you watch the video.

Sanctimonious SOB? Did you skip this line in my OP?

Go read the LFC thread and you will find numerous instances where we have voluntarily criticized SOS.

You are a self-righteous, apparently illiterate, blind and deaf homer. You continue to perpetuate the negative stereotype against United fans that people like WSE try so hard to shake.

Watch the video. "Murderers" was clearly chanted. Nothing to do with Suarez, everything to do with Hillsborough.

It's time for you to get mad at some so-called fans.

I can't open the video and I don't like to frequent the LFC thread. From what little I have seen today of their thread I have seen no condemnations of their Munich chants.

No, WSE. That's not a reference to Hullsborough. That's a reference to Heysel.

Make an active attempt to read our sentiments before making stupid blanket statements. I, and many others, have never condoned any chant that celebrates the loss of life in any way.

Ok, so what if happened to be a reference to Heysel? On an emotional day like today, why the heck do you chant it? Please don't defend these fools.

You and your friends may not condone any chant that celebrates the loss of life, but the same cannot be said of many LFC supporters. Same can be said about Leedscum. I can't tell you how many times I've been called Munich Scum.

You have made me already regret defending United fans.
