a good defensive performance...all around just sort of meh

I thought we really looked like a "Mourinho team" for the first time this year, which I find encouraging.

We should have put a couple past them the first 30mins when we had the game.

Did you even have a shot on goal in the first 30 minutes? How can you say that?

He's worked a ton to improve his defensive game at United, which really wasn't bad to begin with. Just one of those hustle guys who can do some of everything.

I don't get the hate. I'd take him at LFC in a heartbeat.

I mean, I don't have my finger on the pulse of United fans... but I like him a lot. I only side with the social media maniacs in the fact that Rooney needs to ride off into the sunset.

I think it was an interview with mata where he said Herrera won't ever stfu about football. one of those guys who is just obsessed (in a good way)

As far as the game, I think we were better tactically. you could see our tactical plan playing out with Herrera harassing coutinho, mane and firmino. the rest of midfield playing physical and killing off breaks with fouls if need be. physically they couldn't really match us. mourinho is fine conceding possession and it was reflected in the stats

If you're ok with your tactics dictating your lowest ever possession stat. I just don't see how United fans are proud watching one of the two greatest ever English teams reduced to that in their biggest derby game.

You resorted to incessant fouling. So yeah, we couldn't cope with your cynicism.

I am 100% fine, just very confused. Listening to y'alls reactions last year and the years before against Jose's Chelsea. So much criticism of his tactics. Now its ok? A legitimate question.

I am in no way angry. I'm pretty happy with how things played out today.

If you can find a post of me complaining about Jose's tactics, go ahead.

It's not ideal, but it is what it is. This team is having a hard enough time scoring against Stoke City, so this wasn't surprising.

Yeh, I've never complained about jose's tactics either. maybe i just have man utd glasses on but I thought the game was MUCH closer than the possession statistic indicated.

That wasn't a literal "y'all." I just mean the majority of United fans who's opinions I read after those games.

Fair enough. I guess everything is a work in progress. Just a bit strange after 200+ million spent.

BPG is slipping pithy little jabs left and right. He seems #madonline.
