People saying Kun is lucky to be alive and only is because he was wearing his seatbelt. Oddly enough, the car he was in was a PT Cruiser.

fricking hell. Aguero was in absolutely amazing form too, not just from a goal scoring perspective. I’m guessing we’ll probably shy away from the 3-5-2 unless Sane proves to be competent consistently up top. Jesus should have no issues taking the main striker role. Back to the 4-3-3 we march. Less responsibility for Delph at LB at least.

I don't think we'll shy away from the 3-5-2 because of this.

Sterling/Sane and probably even KDB could slide into one of the other forward roles.

It's honestly probably the best formation right now with our depth at fullback so slim. If Pep absolutely had to he could slide Sane/Sterling/Delph/Fernandinho/Zinchenko in to relieve Walker and Danilo.

Obviously none of that is really ideal, but Delph and Fernandinho are probably gonna be our backup fullbacks, at least until January. Will be interesting to see if City call back Maffeo

ETA: of course, this would mean Pep trusting Mangala or Tosin if Kompany is out. So unfortunate that the Mendy and Aguero injuries come days before a huge match. Hopefully Aguero can recover quickly.

damn. One hell of a player, I hope he comes back better than before (and not only because he's in my fantasy team lol)
However, I've said it since the beginning that Jesus is better than he is. So y'all won't be having a drop off

That’s so risky tho, hedging the entire formation on a 20 year old striker with 2 20 year old wingers and a 25 year old #10 as your options for second striker. With nobody having any experience in the position. Sane has no right foot, and Sterling is inconsistency personified. KDB shots were glued to the crossbar last year. I don’t want to put any of them in a striker position right now. Especially not KDB since his creativity and passing are world class. I’d rather just go with a 4-3-3 and Jesus up top. Sane could prove me wrong and I hope he does. But until then I’m skeptical.

i absolutely hate this for aguero and the team. we've clearly been on an amazing run of form and we've been scoring goals out the arse.

that said, i hope this leads to a nice stretch of games for sane. he's been killing it.

Thank you Gabriel Jesus for taking pity upon our situation!

ETA: looks like Brahim will be on the bench against Chelsea.

Pep should be praised. He sure took some criticism(unfair imo) last season. Long season but y'all look terrific so far.

I'm only sad that the club's £50 mil backup left back is out for the year.

Last season was frustrating but lots of growing pains. Hendo mentioned it when we got him and I kind of expected it. We didn't win any silverware but we were playing out of our skulls at the end of the season. He's carried it over to this season so I can't complain. That was a great performance.

KDB. Wow.

Aguero, Jesus and Sterling all have as many goals as Kane.
