No but you can't thump your chest and actually believe you are a bigger or comparable brand to Barca, yet your ground has issues being filed.
Oh man. You're correct. I also don't feel like arguing this early
Thanks for keeping our page bumped also. Always enjoying that. It reflects our place in the table.
Can this international break just end?

Barca averaged 21,000 empty seats for La Liga 2014-15.

No one can prove City have a bigger brand than Barcelona, but one thing I can prove is that City are top of the table!

Saturday morning update: still top of the table

Impressive U14 result
The future...
quote:
Robin van Persie, Phil Neville and Darren Fletcher have all sent their sons to City’s academy despite their strong Red connections.
And MEN columnist and United We Stand fanzine editor Andy Mitten recently drew attention to the growing dominance of City’s academy.
He quotes a source familiar with both clubs as saying: “United became complacent.
“They thought that players would come to United because it was United, with the history of the Busby Babes and the Class of ‘92 - or even of getting the best Manchester players in recent years like Daniel Welbeck.
“The truth is that United have stood still while the rest have caught up and, in the case of City, have gone past United.”

The article was shitty. I think it has more to do with value. It HAS to considering how many EPL teams are in it. The EPL has a bigger draw in the US and the massive tv deals don't hurt either. The EPL is easily accessible here now. I'll watch Barca if they're on but it is rare I see them on the usual networks, NBC, ESPN, Fox, etc. Honestly, I probably watch more PSG matches than Barcelona. PSG is always on fricking bein.

Yeah the youth teams have really started to look good in the last 2-3 years. I don't think we'll see a full-blown "youth infusion" but I do think we're going to start seeing these guys come in, starting with Angelino. MDM will move on this year and that opens up space for Denayer. It sucks Lopes is gone but we have retarded depth at CAM. Nacho will be a solid 3rd option this year and I wouldn't be surprised to see Angelino come into the squad in the next year or so, he's looked solid in the NYC games I've watched.

Delph down 5 minutes into the game. Hammy.

Less than a minute, actually.

Silva out for tomorrow. Guessing Nasri slots into the middle with Sterling and Navas out wide. Would love to see KDB but I doubt he plays much. 60th minute sub I guess.

both their kids have actually left the City academy bc they moved
regardless what City are doing is impressive but will the culture change ever happen when a huge influx of academy grads are thrown in the first team?
Will City fans and management be patient to take the risk that goes with it like potentially dropping out of the top 4 etc. Of the top 4 teams City needs the tv money more than anyone to make up for its lack of match day revenue.

Nacho the grizzled vet with the game winner. Another clean sheet

Had a decent chance at a 2nd as well.
Clean sheet is impressive, CP pressured hard first half. Thought for sure we would concede one.

I can't say I like the politics in the front office of City nor the amount of money you are willing to shill out for any player with "potential".
But, dammit if this isn't the most fun team to watch right now.
Bravo City.

KDB is going to be amazing in this team. The calmness on the ball. He looked like he had been playing with these guys for awhile.
