I've explained this before. It's more complicated than you think.
A good example would be med school. Everyone wants to do derm but only the best will get it. It takes a ton of extra work, putting up with a ton of bullshite, dealing with other people that are trying hard to take your spot and so on.
Some people have the smarts to do derm but not the drive and thus settle for something else. (In this situation derm is your "play a game for money and enjoy spoils" and CT is your 9-5, shits relative and my other choice didn't lead me to flipping burgers)
Another example is Med school and PA. There's a handful of PA student that said " frick 4 years of Med school then residences then dealing with other people's shite. I'll go for two years and still be in the same field"
It's not that they aren't smart enough to do Med school, they just don't want to put up with the bullshite.
Same with me, I'm plenty talented enough to play in MLS, I didn't want to and never did put the time in and put up with the bullshite to make it, although sometimes I get pissed at how bad some players are. Changing your diet completely, changing your daily routine, leaving family, the pressure of paying bills while training all day and trying to make it. I didn't think it was worth it, pursued another opportunity instead.
And yes they will win CL to spite me. I'm fine with that only if they hold up the other end of what I've said about it. They'd win the CL based on pure luck and then get relegated.
You can not seriously look at this team and say they arent where they are based on pure luck. A team from the bottom of a shite league was the only one to advance to this stage in the CL. Pure luck.Btw when I say shite league I mean skill wise, PL is still the most entertaining ( mainly because of accessibility)
If you read this far let's keep going and dissect this alittle more.
The "star" players from this "talented" team that won the PL are now nowhere to be found. Is that because mahrez got the big money transfer to Barca he so rightfully deserved??
The coach, the mastermind behind the title success fired mid season as the team was in relegation zone? But but he helped them win the title! Why would the billionaire foreign owner of the "small" English team fire him!
TL:DR Leicester are pure trash but the luckiest team ever. Stay woke

This dude went to a jesters tryout and got smoked. There are high school kids from the NOLA area who make that team and even start. MLS is a much higher level.
To go with the med school example, it's like saying "I didn't have the board scores to do primary care but I could totally be a neurosurgeon if I wanted to."
