Looking to buy a soccer jersey..

for my brother who's a fan of soccer. Not really any team in particular but just wants a jersey, so what would be some of the best ones to get for him?

Don't go to eBay and waste your money waiting on a Chinese knockoff to arrive two months later even if it's cheaper.
Just buy one from soccer.com or worldsoccershop.com and pony up the $60 bucks.
I would get an Arsenal, USA or Barca shirt, but that's just my preferences. Also look for the sale shirts, I just bought an England away shirt for £10 (~$16).

Third Coast Soccer (on Jefferson near Essen) has a great selection in-store, adult and youth.

Whatever you do, don't get a Manchester United jersey.
Also, I do agree that Third Coast is a good place to try since you live near Baton Rouge.

I'd go with the blue US men's jerseys form the last World Cup. Either without a last name or one of Landon Donovan (number 10).
