Most likely a depth signing now after Papa's incident. My guess is Ilori or Sakho, but I haven't really seen much of either to say who I'd prefer

Sakho would be able to step into our first team straight away (ability wise)... He is a LCB, but he wouldn't unseat Agger...

Llori is young and more of a project... Like Coates was a couple years ago, just a different type player..

Sakho wants out of PSG because he can't unseat Silva and Alex, he would prob sit here too... Doesn't make sense to me

I doubt Kolo is healthy all year

Agger was though of as injury prone heading into last year

Some coverage and rotation at CB would be a good thing. If a guy is capable of starting, that may be a good thing.

That's what I was thinking. So you essentially have a choice between a guy that's probably a better back up vs. someone with a higher ceiling, but less ready to play now.

Would you think Ilori would be better to step in as a back up then Coates? I liked Coates but no secret he had lead feet and wasn't the best at holding a high line, which I thought I heard Ilori has pretty good speed.

Llori is smaller, faster and better with the ball at his then Seba...

He def seems to fit BRs style of play...

I still think, if this knee injury isn't too bad, Seba will be a great CB. He seems perfectly suited for Italy..

I think we're all having our days this transfer window.

I think a lot of it is born out of our improvement the second half of last year, and our thinking that we are really close to being top 4 material.

And then Tottenham goes and wins the transfer window. Chelsea and City really improve their teams. ManU and Arsenal have stayed still, but they were already better than us.

If our goal is to make it to CL, then we need to quit talking about it and do something to put us in position to get there. I hate that BR announces that we're going after another CB. Now every team with a CB we approach knows we need one and will raise the price, or leak the info the media to get another team involved.

I'd rather us just say - we're happy with our team. We may approach a couple of guys that fit us, but we don't need to make any moves. And make that our only statements at all about transfers.

We've been linked with at least five of them in the last 12 months.

I gotta say Mingolet and Toure have really stepped in, if not approved upon their predecessors...

Still think we're lacking another player in attack that BR wants... I know we get Luis back in a month, too...

But 6 out of 6 and 2 clean sheets... Can really ask for more than that!

These two have really been great for us by being able to step in so easily so far.

I agree, but we really need a defensive midfielder to be able to help us out in situations like today.

Brilliant win. Its one thing to win playing to your strengths, and its a wholly different thing winning playing out of your element. Sitting there absorbing pressure and trying to play on the counter is obviously not what we're used to, but we found a way to pull it out. That is a mark of maturity with this team.

Also, KOLO frickING TOURE.
