Luis owes the fans and his teammates... and basically, Cavani (£55mm) has set the bar as to Luis' worth and even at an offer that size, we may not sell.. Also, any club thinking they can come in late for some knocked down price can already frick off!!

Not sure how I feel about them becasue of their Iran/terrorism banking issues. And we're still far away from what United is getting. Was hoping that rumored middle east airline or whatever was going to come through with a huge sponsorship....

Good job Brendan, I like the stance on the issue but more importantly on the price.
Basically pay us £55mm - £60mm and we sell him, but if you dilly dally to long pondering about the purchase then just frick off we are going to go on about our business ...

No... its been reported that he has a £40mm clause in his contract that says something to the effect of... if a club matches that, they need to inform him of the interest and be open to negotiate, if Suarez wants away. They don't have to sell at any price though.. which to me, was made more evident yesterday when BR said we wouldn't necessarily sell him even if we were offered Cavani (£55mm) money..
edit: As much as I hate to lose him, I think we'd sell if that kind of bid came in. IMO, between the deal for Cavani and the one for Falcao (£50mm)... the bar has been set..
