Most of what Pepe and Sergio Ramos get in trouble for are awful, injury inducing tackles and then abusing the ref for making the call. As defenders (or CDMs sometimes) they receive a lot more forgiveness for these types of actions than if they were convicted of racially abusing a black player or repeatedly biting on the pitch.

Suarez is beyond good enough to wear they will give him a shot. Slim chance he ever gets charged with racism again. If he happens to bite another player, then he is just a fricking idiot. Still worth the risk, especially considering Pepe literally beat the shite out of a dude on the pitch.

They wont. When it happened a bunch of Spanish pundits and players came out and were saying "what's the big deal here?"
They even had that one Spanish language professor that did some special interview on how the English are retarded and don't understand other cultures.

I'm sure people said the same thing after it happened at Ajax. There's something that switches off in his head when the ball is kicked off that affects rational decision making from time to time. And while i agree that the media outside of England will be more supportive of him, i can't fathom him completing his career without another major incident.

Well, if the report that RM value him at £25mm is true, then he may very well be right.

I dont know enough about Mingolet to say he is a definite upgrade or not...
