Just finished the DVR. I can't post enough dancing bananas. Everyone was terrific.

Coutinho is going to be unreal.
Sturridge making us ask "Luis who?"
frickING BORINI!
Carra was a rock. Again.
Lucas probably had the best game since his return from injury.

The only negative I saw was Glen Johnson. He was probably our worst player going forward. Worse than Downing. Did he complete a single pass in the attacking half? I'm serious, I don't think he did. He was average on defense and completely abysmal in the attacking third.

Don't mean to rain on the parade, just trying to be objective. Overall, god damn did we need this. What a wonderful day.

It's amazing how awesome Pool can be when they don't have that cancer around to distract from their actual play.

Also amazing that the £12mm striker you sold us, is better than the £50mm striker we sold y'all...

Nah, we have decided to stop donating to clubs that support savages.

Understandable, you probably should focus on the ones that support kicking boys and shooting people...

When Joe Allen gets back to form, that's gonna be one nasty midfield (it already kinda is). Also Sterling in the attack. Y'all have a lot to look forward to.

Lucas had his best game this season and I hope he is back to his best after playing through the 'rust: and another injury this season... However, I hope we bring in a no nonsense DM this summer to add to our MF...

They say Suarez has anger issues. WTF is with Tiote?

Brilliant work by Coutinho. Sturridge did a good job. Henderson hassled and harried well. Overall good team performance. I liked the travelling kop singing the Luis Suarez song.

Johnson was the worst of our lot. It would've looked worse for him if the rest of the team didn't perform at the level they did. Haidara was their best performer. We should've banged in at least three more goals. Sturridge needs to work on his finishing some more. And Coutinho need to beef up some.

Tiote is the biggest count in the Prem. Plus he's fricking terrible.

Agreed.

Lawro on today's game:

"Suarez will be really missed by his team-mates and I just have a feeling they will feel a little low and hurt. They'll all be looking around and thinking 'what will happen in the next few months?' I think Newcastle will win this one."

If you were swearing in Hindi. "Lawra" is a "gentleman's sausage" and "Lawro" is multiple "gentlemen's sausages". I would say his name suits him to a T. I've had enough of these pundits.

Newcastle looked like they didn't give a shite.

But seriously, nice performance by Pool.
