yeah, I just wish we'd have invested the initial Carroll/Henderson/Downing/Adam money better... That was a significant outlay by the owners, but they cant keep doing that...

Part of me wants to see them go all in this summer and hedge that we'll get CL... knowing if we dont that we'll have to sell off most and start at square one... but I dont have that big of balls...

Please let it be true... and at that price!

Considering the source, I'm skeptical, but a few others are saying it may not be far off...

After how the Gylfi deal went, I will believe nothing until I see an official photo of him holding up a red liverpool shirt.

ETA: actually I'm just going to assume that Tottenham will sweep in at the last second and sign all of our targets.

Sorry, I'm just in a bad mood lately. I really hope I'm wrong.

"When he left, he didn’t just leave.
He went to every single Liverpool worker. He went to the physio, the medical workers, the laundry workers, etc. He thanked
them. Every single individual. I am not ashamed to say I cried when he left, so did the team.
He was a beautiful person.
Helped charities, helped families. Very humble. It’s a shame nobody saw him do
this. He is special, and in Liverpool, he will always be with us, even of he is not
wearing the colours”

Is that a recent quote or just feeling nostalgic?

Coates off to Napoli? According to Uruguayan press. Now who do I want, Cavani or Hamsik?

Considering we'll have Eriksen in the fold (fingers crossed), I'd say Cavani

All kidding aside, I wouldnt mind a straight swap for Edu Vargas (on loan at Gremio)

Chelsea will have played 7 matches since March 30 when we line up.

Surely we can score a goal this weekend?? Should I be betting on it? Don't recall every having three games in a row without a goal.

Thought that was interesting enough interview that Wahl did. Not sure how much is truth about the ownership, etc, but it was at least interesting to hear the thoughts. Also intresting about the NBC deal.

After two scoreless draws, one of which against the worst team on the table, we'll probably beat Chelsea 5-0.

Then lose the following week to Newcastle.

So, Cruzeiro just signed Dede for between £4.2-£4.7...

I knew this was going to happen. Dede was never a genuine target.

Meh. I am not too arsed about Dede. I think he is overrated. Alderweilde and Ogbonna for me. I have a feeling BR is trying his best to persuade Carra to stick around for another season.

Apparently we are also targeting Aymen Abdennour, Toulouse's 23 year old, Tunisian LB/LW. He's well rated. Apparently Barca have been watching him. And so are tiny Tots. Who would've guessed. I am seriously starting to wonder, if they do have a scouting network or do they just target whoever we target?

And deals are in the bag for 16 year old Barca Academy products Sergi Canos (RW/CF) and Josimar (CM/RB/CB). Both extremely highly rated.

Seems like Citeh are after Adam Maher (kid is the bomb, one of the primary reason I choose AZ Alkmaar when playing seasons on FIFA 13, the other being big Jozy Altidore up front), so they may not want to scupper Eriksen to us.
Personal opinion: it will be a really bad career choice for Maher if he decides to move to Citeh. Tiny tots already have Holtby, Dembele, Sigurdsson and Dempsey who could all play similar roles which might play in our favor.

Gut feeling: We might make a cheeky cheap bid for Scott Sinclair. Bayern will bid for Eriksen. And we are still keeping tabs on Tom Ince. Don't quote me on any of these. Just speculating based on how I see things.

yeah, I read Ajax was eyeing up Maher to replace Eriksen... He would be wise to develop a few years there first, before moving to city..

I'm lukewarm on Toby A... I guess my next choice would be Benatia, however I wouldnt mind seeing Micah Richards either... I like him at CB... strong, recovery speed, ball skills and a beast in the air..

Ive been seeing the Canos link, not familiar with the other guy..

Citeh shite the bed last summer with transfers (except the Serb CB).. I can see Sinclair wanting to move... I like Milner as the utility RB/RW/CM mid player, but it seems like he's been featuring more and more for them...

Never knew that Rafa donated £96,000 to the Hillsborough Family Support Group shortly after he was let go as manager of LFC.
