Tottenham have lost only one game of the last thirteen games. Are Tottenham poised to catch up to Leicester?

Can surging Tottenham overhaul Leicester?

Spurs won't screw up tomorrow against West Brom.

But if Leicester can get a point against United next week, that could be the death knell. Next week's game at Chelsea is the big one. If they drop points, Leicester can clinch the title with a win at home against Everton penultimate weekend.

It's certainly not out of the realm of possibility, but might just be too late in the game.

Can I just laugh that at the fact that, in a year where Spurs finally surpass the Manchesters, Pool, Chelsea and Arsenal, they still won't win the title.

Meh, but neither will any of those other clubs.

But that's what's so funny about it... Spurs finally clears the hurdle of the big clubs only for fricking Leicester to swoop in and take the trophy.

WHAT? That's absurd. Not even CLOSE to a click bait article.

A real click bait presentation would be a picture of you with the caption, "WORLD'S MOST HORRENDOUS PLASTIC SURGERY MALPRACTICE CASES" or something like that.

I think think the Yids would be happy simply overtaking them. Leave the overhaul for the Leicestrians.

"Overhaul" is a maritime word that means the same thing as "overtake". . . . and you call yourself a football fan.

What does the sea have to do with football?

The fact that the limeys fopped it on people when in their harbors?

NEVERTHELESS you Rustik, the proper word is "overhaul" NOT "overtake" and you can look it up for yourself, if you wish.

Thus endeth the lesson. Great Britain is a maritime nation.
You may have heard of a little song with the words "Britannia Rules the Waves"? They aren't talking about Tulane University.

No clue. I think of overtake, pass. Overhaul sounds like retool, go back to zero, start over. I also can visually image ´overhaul´ in your context. Painfully slow. Whatever. Just having fun.

Yes, just having fun.

Really, when you read about maritime events like battles, "overhaul" is used in the context of a slower ship being caught up with by a larger warship. Sometimes the faster ship is only a knot or two faster, and it could take 24 hours to overhaul the flying ship. "Flying" in this situation means "running away" or "fleeing".

But, once the slower and more slightly armed ship was overhauled and brought within the warship's gun range, it was curtains for the slow ship.
