Bookies must love this shite. Almost no chance he actually becomes their next manager but idiots are going to bet on it anyway.

i think they liked the fact that our guys played their butts off while england was lifeless. a common criticism i hear from english fans is that they don't think their guys play hard for the national team.
I can see that, but the irony is that the the last two games this Copa was the least inspired I've see us play in a major tournament I think ever. Bob Bradley seems more like the players coach/ motivator then Jurgen has ever shown.

I think it's the lack of a tactical game plan that makes us appear less motivated at times. Guys get caught kind of wandering due to a lack of instruction from the sidelines. What's concerning is when your captain completely blows off the coach trying to tell him "good job" after subbing him off near the end of the third place game.

So Harry Kane and his big nose better run hard for 90 minutes.

I love that Jurgen's name has come up for every open job. It must mean that he is actively looking to get out.

Not really. That's just how you increase your "value" as a professional. It's the same reason people in the tech industry seek new jobs every 3-5 years, and for some, that's a long time.

If no one wants you, you won't be paid. All Jurgen's doing is reminding the heads at US Soccer that "people want him". If anything, this shows that we'll be sat with Jurgen for a while.

I would love for Jurgen to leave, but we showed a lot of fight and desire in that Colombia game. Jones, wood, Pulisic, yedlin, Dempsey, Cameron, Howard all had very evident and intense moments of "caring." Again the ball didn't break our way, but there was nothing wrong with the second Colombia performance.

Joe Prince-Wright ? @JPW_NBCSports FWIW: I've heard from one leading bookmaker today that over 80% of bets placed on next England manager have been on Jurgen Klinsmann.

This will be the reason it falls through...too much money to cash in on here.

they were infatuated by how we played in 2014.

Did they actually watch us play?

Yes. They had a bit more perspective than a bunch of rabidly butt hurt Landon Donovan fans and didn't expect the US to dictate the play to teams filled with top flight attacking talent.

Don't just downvote. Let's get salty.

The whole Jurgen vs Donovan thing has been played to death. Edited: Bad reading comprehension on my part, but first point stands.

I'm trying to think of the English equivalent to Brad Davis but I don't know if that magical left foot exists over there

We looked pretty good at times, but we really should have started Nagbe and maybe even Pulisic.
