My favorite part about Jurgen is how he says the player pool isn't good enough to compete yet....but we've somehow been at the top of CONCACAF for the last however many years.

I can buy us not being a true, perennial WC contender. I don't except us to make the semis or final every year. I'd be happy with one final in my lifetime.

But not good enough for the gold cup?

Yeah I don't buy this crap either seeing that we've won Gold Cups before.

Then the Donovan thing happened. He lost me with that. Every thing I've seen from him since then has just reaffirmed my initial misgivings from that incident.

He's always trying to bring in players that are creative and take people on while providing width, yet he sat the best player in our country's history at doing so because of ego. I feel like I wouldn't be so upset with these failed experiments if he didn't present himself as the de facto face of US soccer.

It was scene in the movie where viewers become aware that something may be amiss with the power-crazed captain who will eventually steer the ship into the Bermuda Triangle.

It makes me that he thinks that he can choose his squads like Dunga's retarded brother then point fingers and accuse US fans of being idiots, as if he wouldn't get criticized for the things he does in Sao Paulo, Madrid, or Berlin.

In Sao Paulo or Madrid they know football well enough to applaud his mad genius.

There's an alternate universe where a Klinsmann led Brazil beat Germany 7-1 on their way to winning the 2014 World Cup

Why ?

We played Holland, Peru, Brazil and Germany and went 3-1.

We lost to Jam. in a game we dominated, that happens, who cares about a third place game ?

I think JK is trying to prepare the team for the coming WC which is all that is relevant in reality.

Plays Bradley in the wrong position, and our team is to old. He needs to go to a youth movement.

No use firing him until the WC has come and gone imho.

His latest squad for the Mexico clash shows me he is worried about his job. He is going super defensive against Mexico.

Jurgy is still the head coach because he has brought in more out of country talent than Bobert.

It will take a massive frick up for Jurgy to be fired.

Just now seeing this gem like it should be some badge of honor that makes him bullet proof.
