3-1 I'll take it. Beats the hell out of those 5-1 and 7-0 games I'm used to seeing from Man U

I wish MLS would only play the mid to bottom level teams. It gives the league a much better image considering we win a few of those matches.

Honestly, a club like LA Galaxy should play the top tier squads. I mean, yeah, they're older guys, but they have a really solid lineup of European players.

I was looking at who all was on the MLS All-Star team, and 5 years ago, I'd have cum in my pants and passed out if MLS was fielding a team of that caliber. Guys like Kaka, David Villa, Gerrard, Lampard, and whatnot on top of American bosses like Dempsey, Bradley, etc. is pretty scary. I think Tottenham will be tested no doubt even with all things considered.

got to go to Barca/Galaxy and my god the difference in the two teams is astounding to see in person.

Obviously it is Barcelona but it is nuts to see the technical differences side by side. You're nearly surprised to see LA get off three consecutive passes mostly due to their own errors or poor touches.

Watched LA/SJ last week and LA looked like Barca relatively. MLS keeps coming and coming in terms of quality but man it's an eye opener

I think we are getting it twisted here. A case could be made that Barca took that game more seriously than LA did considering it was their first preseason game (I think).

The Galaxy are in the middle of the MLS season in which I'm sure they want to repeat with the MLS Cup especially with the addition of Gerrard and the rise of Zardes. I think they were certainly playing that game like a friendly.....at least I hope so with the way they allowed Pique and Iniesta to basically hold the ball unmarked in front of the box at times.

ETA Not to mention Suarez's goal was like a gift from God....although give the man credit for planting the ball in the back of the net....no one would suggest he isn't a great finisher that's for sure.
