I would agree, but we're the biggest and best in the state.

Atletico isn't even the best in their city

True, but the attitude.... I could have just edited Ole Miss results from the past few years over the exact same audio. Especially that Arkansas 4th down.

Nah, as much as it pains me to say it....Ole Miss is probably Newcastle or maybe Aston Villa or something

Ath Madrid is like Penn State

...Lisbon and Milan disagree.

ETA One thing he said at the end is a perfect microcosm of Atletico Madrid - "They won, but they lost."

That has to suck as a fan....although their fans have never won enough to realize it so it appears.

Just because our hearts were broken twice doesn't mean that the pupas culture is still around... sure it was almost expected to lose those two but for the first time ever, really, colchoneros believed they just might beat those blanco frickfaces

The only team I root for that wins consistently is Alabama. And I only root for the tide because that's my alma mater. The braves, hawks, Falcons, and Atletico Madrid are all teams that rip your heart out seemingly every season, I'm a masochist apparently.... I don't mind it one bit though tbh. I think rooting for teams that buy everything they want is fricking lame as shite...especially for fans of those clubs that have literally zero connection other than they are bandwagoners that played with them on FIFA or some gay shite.

Atletico will win one eventually(as long as the culture of cholo stays around) and it will be all the more sweet.... like the copa del Rey was, or winning the league a couple years ago

I always love this argument....90% of us on here have no connection whatsoever to the team we root for. Hell it's starting to get to be a weekly tradition for people to come on here and ask US who to root for.

I started watching Real Madrid because I liked watching Zidane and Raul play soccer. They were 2 of the best in the world at their craft. I had no attachment to Real Madrid other than that when I started watching. Over the years I feel like I've grown an attachment to the team.

BTW this
quote:

The braves, hawks, Falcons

explains a lot.

ETA I'm not really hating on Simeone for trying to change the culture...what the hell else was he supposed to do. However, it appears from the outside looking in that he was a nut hair from leaving before this year. In fact that did increase my respect for the man....before that I just thought he was a bitch and he would have confirmed it if he would have cut-bait and run....but he stayed and I respect that.

I'm a Kun agüero fan and I guess I am a fan of watching city, but I don't really consider myself a full on city fan especially with pep as coach I fricking hate his style of play

I think you misread it....I picked players. In fact I watched France and Spain international games more so than any club because I was young and dumb when it came to being able to get access to those matches back then.
