How bad will the officiating be against the U.S. in the Gold Cup?

Awful as always. A couple of our players will get a bloody nose. We open the game up getting tackled in the box. No penalty rewarded. Bradley or Jones will retaliate and get a yellow right off the back. That's the way it has always been.

I hope someone makes a YouTube video of all of the terrible calls and posts it on reddit.

Honestly, I think that FIFA knows they're fricked, and they're going to play nice because we're one of the only countries who could viably challenge them. Sure, if we got banned from competition, there'd be a lot of sad people, but it'd be nowhere as mental as the countries with any power in Europe. Any bad officiating is just going to be the result of the officials being awful.

Sepp Blatter's not a stupid man, and I guarantee he knows that it's not wise to start fighting back against a country who just basically just ripped his neutral sanctuary out from under him.

I mean, shite, this is the most aggressive thing the Swiss have done in probably 100 years.

I went to the 2013 GC semis in Dallas when the US played Honduras. That was the game when Jurgy was sent off after complaining about a series of non-calls on late fouls when the game was already in hand. Our only hope is that the Central American refs hate the corrupt Carribbean officials more than they hate us.

Spot on point, but get ready for a fricking three-ring legal circus.
