I'm not putting any work into this thread because our team hasn't in three years.

Although the new forwards have looked promising in the preseason:

We won the Tucson tournament. So there's that

I cut the cord this year. So, I won't be able to watch the Dynamo on TV. I hope they are decent enough to entice me to go to a few games this year.

A majority of their games are going to be carried over the air on the Kube channel 57

Debating going to the home opener honestly... Coming over to Houston for the LSU baseball tournament, but the Saturday game doesn't conflict and I enjoyed BBVA on my trip to this tournament two years ago

Good start! But Houston tends to beat Seattle in Houston, and you still almost gave up the lead. I would almost be inclined to argue that your best player tonight was Clint Dempsey.

I've watched the replay of the Quioto goal about 20 times. That's one of the best I've ever seen from the Dynamo.

2 games, 2 wins.

Things can change in an instant in MLS, and it looks like the Dynamo might be playoff contenders this year. The forwards are playing really well so far. They might be this season's Colorado Rapids that have a great season out of nowhere.

I think Houston won like 5 out of 17 home matches last year. 2 for 2 already at home.

Did anyone see what happened with the red card? I didn't see the tackle, but I knew something was up when the ref stopped play despite the clear advantage for the Dynamo.

Edit: found the video link

Don't think there was any malicious intent by Mensah there, but it's still a no-doubt red card. Went studs up, and got all of Alex. Very reckless.

Those are the types of tackles that can break legs.

Yeah that was a bullshite tackle. Could be breaking people's legs when the game is basically over. But regardless what a great game! The threats and conceding HAS to stop in the last 10 mins of the game. Lots of huffing and puffing last night and it was cold. They better get in shape before summer or we will have a repeat or last season with a bunch of losses at the end of games

Wilmer Cabrera might be just what the doctor ordered for Houston. He has solid MLS experience, and managed a disastrous situation at Chivas USA about as well as anyone could have expected. Cubo Torres was very effective under his direction there.
