Gold Cup/Confed Cup Question

Let's say we win the playoff in October and qualify for the Confederations Cup. Could we send our A team to Russia for the Gold Cup and have a B/C/youngster team for the Gold Cup?

I remember playing in the Confed Cup, but couldn't remember if we were in the Gold Cup or not.
