He has been good with the youth sides. But still...

People are saying Glenn Hoddle should get the job again.

Pardew taking a nose dive in the second half of the season last year killed his chances

But Redknapp said Southgate was only seen as a favourite for the job because he had won a "second-rate tournament" with England's Under-21s in Toulon.

When it was suggested that Southgate knew the way the Football Association worked as well as the English "system", Redknapp responded: "Knows what system? The losing system? He knows the losing formula?

Not in a million fricking years. Something like half of the people in the UK are Agnostic/Atheist/None of the above. Some of the people of the UK are also disabled. That man shouldn't be allowed to manage a 5 a side team.

Also, bringing on Merson rather than McManaman vs the Argies was a fail. So frick him.

Pardew is a first rate count and a shite manager. If he's the manager of England I'll start supporting the USMNT, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and NI. And France.

I'd take him in heart beat.

I'm looking at the odds. Jesus Christ. English football needs an iceland style revolution (look up what they did, it's really neat). Alan Shearer? What are we gonna do, partner him up with Glenn Roeder again?

If it has to be English let's go with someone who at least has a system that he can get players to play, so either Allardyce, or ummm...

If the FA do have the sense to go foreign, there's a ton of talent. Any of the following will be fine
Blanc, De Boer, Wenger, Simeone, Bielsa...

Even Benitez would be a massive improvement over any English manager I can think of.

The next manager will fail unless the FA gets their heads out of their collective asses

Have the English blamed foreigners for England's latest footballing failures yet?

Eddie Howe gets no play? Why not a youth movement starting with the Manager?

Can you imagine how shite the England team would get if there were fewer foreigners in the PL?
