Curiosity got the better of me this morning.

Since 2011, we've played Jamaica and Panama (the second tier of CONCACAF, behind Mexico, Costa Rica and maybe Honduras.)

We've played 10 times. We've got a +3 goal differential (12-9), though we've played Panama in two friendlies, outscoring them 3-0. Without that, we're even on GD.

We've been outshot 103-100, which includes the 20 shots we took trying to come back against Jamaica on Wednesday.

Not all terrible - we won 5 of the games (including the two friendlies.) But it appears that we're getting outplayed by teams that should be far below us. I haven't run the numbers for Mexico, Honduras and Costa Rica, and I don't think I want to.

I'd bet our numbers are actually better, but that doesn't excuse losing to the Concacaf teams that aren't World Cup quality
