Make sure you go to fmscout to get ur team badges, team kits, and background mods.
If not game is horrible looking, those fake badges are super suck

Using your web browser, go to fmscout and they have a dload page for fm17.
get you team badges, team kits, and a background.
If not, you get derelict badges and kits for teams who SI do not have contracts with.
Here is page to get all of the stuff you need: LINK
also, you can tinker with the tactics or just download one that people create. i always download one.
I prefer 1 forward/left and right winger/2 box to box center midfielders/ 1 defensive midfielder/2 wing backs/2 centerbacks.
basically a 4-1-2-2-1 formation.

My advice is to take your favorite team and run some with them. It's better to tackle the ratings system, tactics and transfer market when you know what the team has inside and out.

If your not sure of a team to pick, go to that fmscout.com site, they have 2 different tools to figure out which team you might pick.
you can put in several different dealios you want in a team and it will give you the best fits. you want top academy, top youth program, then these teams u will want, etc.
I just took Hammarby from outhouse to Champions league glory in 3 years. I love playing teams like:
Anderlecht/Rosenborg/F.C. Copenhagen
I also used to like playing Ajax back in the day, but those hideous neon jerseys have ruined them for me. Horrible looking pieces of crap. What, was Florescent Pink not available?

FM 16, I made it to 2067. I ran out of challenges worth having. My favorite was taking over Beroe in the Bulgarian league and being able to acquire a bunch of Brazilians to gain them dual citizenship and build up Bulgaria. They managed to finish 3rd in the World Cup and Runner Up twice in the Euros.
