Good thing Altus Oklahoma has no night life or anything to do bc with FIFA and Destiny 2 I have no life.

The movement is so much different. Acceleration seems to be much more improtant than sprint speed. Goals are much more realistic Ive been playing on Legendary and most have come from counter attacks or well orchestrated passes in the box not just running upfield and blasting it far post everytime. Keepers dont seem as over powered, every open shot in the box has found the back of the net. Also just spamming the tackle button to not get beat isnt op like the last two years. Neymar tho thats a bad man lmao

Played five matches on Legendary today. Had a 2-1 win, a 1-1 draw, a 2-1 loss, a 5-0 win, and a 0-0 draw. Liking that variety.

This game is just gorgeous on a PS4 Pro and a 4K HDR display. The player models from the faces to the cleats are fantastic.

The dribbling movement seems tighter. I had a couple of knock-arounds with Rashford that I don't remember being able to do in years past. Using speed to get enough space and get around a closing defender on the wing is all kinds of fun. The actual movement of the players looks more realistic. I wish I could see how this game looks on my usual slow speed.

The tweaked penalty system is good. Pushing the stick forward and hitting the shoot button never made much sense to me.

Your defenders seem to make better plays toward the ball when you're not controlling them. You can switch on while they're in the middle of closing down and they don't just freeze.

This might be just because it's 4 minute halves on normal speed, but the game is still too much counter vs. counter. Patient build-up can sometimes be rewarded, but the CPU still just wants to ping-pong passes as quickly as possible.

Crossing actually seems to work for me this season. That's fun.

I'm pretty impressed. I haven't played 17 in a couple of months because I got burned out on it, but this is a fun demo. I'm more excited about it than I was this time last year, which has to be a good sign.

The beta was nice. Liked it a lot more than 17.

Biggest changes to me are the nerfs to shielding and defending.

Both will take a little getting used to. I was far too comfortable in 17 just passing it up to diego costa and holding the ball for an eternity waiting for winger runs.

Defenders move like tanks and if you bite on a tackle youre totally fricked now. Decent players will also be able to run around AI cbs all day, so getting switched to the right guy and staying in front will be super important.

That said, manual switching feels much better, havent been flabergasted nearly as often in the few games ive played so far.

You don't even need a pro

HDR has been on the base PS4 OS for a while now. You just have to turn it on if your TV is UHD/HDR compatible.

When I booted the demo up it went into HDR mode like it does with certain shows off Netflix. Looks fricking amazing.

It feels like they took a book out of PES with this.

I'm just glad they're doing something to Manager Mode. Anything is an improvement to give it a fresh feeling.

I wasn't a fan of The Journey, but it's really easy after playing Pro Clubs so much.

I loved Hangin by Bastille from FIFA 16. I could listen to that song all day on repeat and not get bored of it.
