So I am now rocking

Costa-Aubamayang-IF Embolo
------------Hakan
----Vidal------------Castro
Baba-Naldo-Toprak-Piscek

Aub and Hakan destroy everything in their path. If Aub doesn't finish with pace, Hakan rockets anything in 25' and closer.

I've been trying to build a hybrid right side to get rid of Embolo/Castro/piscek with no luck.

I had something similar recently. This was my bundesliga squad. Got stale so I sold some guys off to have another try at a two striker formation

Made this hybrid

It sucked. I can't play two strikers this year which pisses me off. Well I've been wanting the one to watch Mane card because I think he could get a dozen in forms this season, so I said frick it and sold every one to build a premier league team. Currently rocking this. The Hakan Halloween card is the only one I kept. It's only selling for 25k and it's probably my favorite card I've used this year. Elite second half sub. I've scored 5 or 6 free kicks with him and of course the great attacking runs, rocket legs, and 5 star weak foot

Interesting note on the aguero card. He doesn't create as many chances as I got with Auba, doesn't feel nearly as OP, but he's scoring at a higher rate. 11 goals in 10 games, but they just don't feel like they're coming as easily as my auba goals. I'd get a brace or hat trick with auba fairly often but also get shut down on occasion. The aguero card just finds the net. Obviously lacks the pace of auba and doesn't have the hi/low work rate, but he does have a lethal right foot.

Whenever i see im about to play a team with auba, my bhole puckers a little.

Hes pretty close to tecmo bowl Bo status as unstoppable.

The pace doesnt bother me, its that its real hard to get the ball off him. Its insane.

Ive got about 350k if i sell off my teams, would love to try to snag him if theres a big crash soon.

Should see a small crash on Black Friday and big one on Christmas. I only got 215k for him so you could build a good squad around him with 350K

If you play with two strikers, IF Kalou is a great strike partner, just change him from CAM.

I can never limit myself to one or two careers.

Right now I have saves for Russia, England, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. Insane.

I haven't started a career yet on '17

Anyone 6 or 7 years in yet with that's acquired Pulisic? Wondering how good he gets. Saw his potential on futwiz listed at 82 but that's not always accurate.

He should get a winter upgrade on FUT and I expect him to be 75-76 rated on FIFA '18

so not necessarily 1 step forward 2 steps back, but what is the point of patching/improving passing if almost half the time the pass power is incorrect and you blind 180 a ball halfway across the field

having said that, i'm willing to deal with it because passing as a whole is much crisper this week

That's not a bad option at all.

I thoughts the Revs for the celebrations and obvious patriotism. Union for another murica name and sons of Ben, etc.

Any other thoughts? Going to probably start the career on Sunday.

He's been a boss so far. I need fast wingers.

Been using a Colchester youth and they're a great tandem.

I've found the only way to survive higher divisions of online FUT is quick and accurate passing. Some of these guys in D1-3 are just ridiculous, like playing a team full of Peles.

Sold every card I have though, got 900k waiting for the market to tank after thanksgiving.

Hope this will help Bruce.

ETA: I don't know how many play manager mode, but pretty much the only thing I do on the game is MM and I sell every player for whichever team I am that's above 25, unless they're badass, asap. I then build the team through the youth squad.

Well of course when you do that, you don't want your entire team looking like idiots with tucked in jerseys and stupid looking cleats so you edit them. One thing I'm sure you've noticed when you do that is that when winter comes, no matter if you equipped them with long sleeves, or didn't even change their sleeves, but just their boots, their winter gear disappears they go back to short sleeves, even when it snows.

This was a huge issue in past games as well and it seems I finally found a fix.

If you want your guy to wear short sleeves when it's not winter, but want them to wear long sleeves, or the under shirt and gloves in winter then you select short sleeves and then hit 'apply and exit'.

Next, you go right back to edit them again. This time select what you want them to wear in winter. Put gloves on, long sleeves or the undershirt and once again hit 'apply and exit'.

Now one more time, go back in and change back the sleeves to what you want them to wear when it isn't snowing/winter outside and hit 'apply and exit'. Through at least this one season, all of my players who I've edited have worn the long sleeves/undershirt during games in the winter and then went back to shorter ones afterwards. I'm not done with this season yet, but I'm getting close. Hopefully it carries over.

How did you get somebody so highly rated? I NEVER get guys who are 70 overall anymore. I feel like most of my youth academy guys are 60-65 rated when I sign them.

He wasn't a 70 when I signed him. He was like a 64 and I've just trained him. I typically won't sign a player to my academy unless they're 3-400K+ in value. This will typically put them at 60 or above.

I have never seen a YA player with a 93-94 potential. I've had several be like an 88-92 and only like 2-3 actually hit 90, so I'm excited as hell, even though his physicals aren't great. Hopefully they improve to 75'ish.

Okay, I was about to say

I haven't had a player in the 70s in several FIFAs now.

I have two Americans in my setup who are pretty dang good. One is a GK with 86-92 potential and the other is a winger with 88-94 (I think). I'm training both of them pretty heavily, and I plan on making them part of my Derby's 2nd team soon.

yeah, I was doing the same as well (I'm in year three so all of my academy guys are pretty young), but I'm scared to do so now.

Apparently training your players and rushing their stats will stunt their physical stat growth, like sprint speed and strength. Like if you reach the players potential in any stat area, then his physicals will just stop growing because you rushed the overall.

I like to play with a lot of pace so now I'm freaking out about it

I have the guy in the photo and then like two other ones. A LW that's a 82-88 potential and then a RB w/ 88-90. I'll continue to always search for Americans even after I feel my team is set of solid 23-25 year old players and then sell a shite ton of them to maximize the chances of the USMNT becoming playable down the road.

My best youth player is a Spanish CB. He's already an 80 and he's only 20. He grew ten points my first season. He's a literal tank and he has three star skills so he can hit roulettes.

I hate that they nerfed the youth system so much the last few games. It was really fun to find more guys with high potential on past games. It really helped me out since I normally do one with a Championship side.

I guess this goes for everybody, but I'm curious what people's teams are looking like down the road a few years. I'd like to see how people have progressed.

I just tried to play a few games on full manual controls on Legendary and fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that.

I'm going to play around with some mixed semi and manual sets. It's just too easy on assisted in this year's game.

In my MLS career, I have a 15 year old right back (so still on youth squad, can't even sign him yet) already at 72 overall.

So yes, as DC United, my 4th highest rated player is 15 years old and stuck on my youth squad. Has like 92-94 potential too.
