Lol. They're no different than any other team. A club & country career mode is where you build your team with only players of that country. With the hope so having the entire starting XI called up to the national team.
I got the idea from docks (YouTube person).
Also, to the question about the stadium, they do change the colors for 1860 games thankfully.

That's pretty cool, then. I'm partial to teams that have real stadiums because it just looks a lot better in game.
And that club and country idea reminds me of an old Football Manager thread I saw a few years ago.
The challenge was to be the manager of both a powerhouse club and a country that had never been to the World Cup (or was one of the worst in the world, like American Samoa or San Marino).
In FM, or at least this version, the nationality of your manager played into the generated prospects you could sign each season for your academy. It would still be mainly the club's home country, but you'd get some random nationalities every now and then. The manager's nationality would be represented by at least a prospect or two each cycle, no matter where it was.
So the idea was to take a club with world-class youth facilities and let it generate players for your home country that you would meticulously train with the goal of building up your national team into one that made it to the World Cup.
Those games took forever from what I read, and the club side (the bulk of FM) was basically like a sandbox career you'd play on the side as you went for your real goal.
I could never get THAT invested into an FM game (I love console FIFA too much, even with all its flaws), but I was really intrigued with the idea of doing something like that.
You could probably something similar in FIFA (just need enough money to be able to afford great scouts from the jump) and build up a terrible national team. Just make sure it was one you could youth scout. You could also sign a bunch of national players as bench players for your club and develop them in training, since that's a thing now.
Not a huge fan of international managing in FIFA, but to me, this is intriguing possibility. But that might be the insomnia talking.
ETA: Just looking at the bizarre list of national teams on 16... Finland, India and Venezuela have never made the World Cup, I think. Ones who have qualified IRL but are not good at all are Bolivia, Bulgaria, China, New Zealand and Northern Ireland.

I wish there were more national teams in the game. I also wish the rosters for national teams didn't change and update after every friendly. It's annoying not being able to pick from your full compliment of players.
Does anyone know why Geoff Cameron's rating went down to 71 from 77/78?

Kelechi Iheanacho is chasing the golden boot, he's a machine. Glad I've got him for what should be my first season in the top division.
I fricked up not buying him and just having him on loan. My budget would not allow it. Its his third year on loan with me and has torn it up from League One to the EPL. Hopefully I can still get him when the loan is up for about 8 mill or so. City just bought Lewi but sold Kun to Bayern.

Joe Dodoo
Man I picked up this guy via transfer during my Carlisle United career and he has been so clutch. Leads League Two in scoring going into Winter Transfer period. Any of ya'll had similar results with old Joe?

I've been training him pretty much every week for my first two seasons and I've gotten him up to an 82 overall. He's still my third striker though, behind Kun who has 22 goals and Griezmann who has 16 in February

Man this game fricking cheats. Nacho is killing it in the prem. Just scored a last min winner for me vs Swansea. And low and behold he fricking breaks his leg in training.
are you fricking kidding.

There is NOTHING worse than the email saying someone got fricked in training.

I always cheat and save right before the transfer window expires because I swear someone gets hurt every time.

Had to look him up but definitely seems like a good signing for the lower tiers. High pace with decent finishing.

I'm gotten lucky in that regard. Worse injuries during training have just been small nicks that keep them 2-7 days.

Still better than the old NHL 2K series where you would be notified one of your players was out 3 months after hurting himself washing his car.

Also, going through 2. Bundesliga as 1860 Munchen is quite difficult. I have 2 wins and 4 losses and I'm sitting at 14th in the table. Luckily, it seems there's only one really good team (RB) and the rest of the teams. I have several players on the bench that would be great, but can't use them.

I'm wrecking everyone's shite in my Liga Adelante career. Ready to be in La Liga as my goal differential right now is +32 and it's not even Christmas yet.

There are games that I'll play on World Class where I'll wreck Chelsea/United 5-0, then I'll get rocked by Sunderland 3-0

Probably true, even though I hate doing that in the middle of a season.
I really don't score a ton of goals, I just don't concede at all.

Y'all have no idea how many times I've scored 4 to 7 goals and give up 5 to 6 in, literally, the last 5 minutes.

Move on up to World Class where Union Berlin scores world class goals from 30+ feet and their GK has 16 saves.

I'm on World Class.
And this is strictly in my Spanish career.
In Russia, I'm in 4th.
In France, I'm in 5th.
