Hulk arrives in Shanghai to thousands of Chinese fans as a legend.

Chelsea and Inter Milan interested in Ezequiel Garay.

quote:

Inter is pursuing the Argentine defender, but there is distance of about €10 million between the offer and the Russian club's demands. The contacts are ongoing but Inter faces competition especially from Chelsea who is in the market for a center back. -source: Gianluca Di Marzio

Zenit Had a 0-0 Draw with the Iraq National Team...WTF

Other Russia stuff...

Former Zenit and Dinamo man Alexei Ionov loaned to champion CSKA following Dinamo's relegation. Kirill Panchenko was sent on loan the other way.

In an interesting twist, CSKA also loaned Konstantin Bazelyuk to Portuguese team Estoril Praia who finished 8th in the Primeira Liga last season.

Charles Kabore extended his deal with FC Krasnodar to 2019. Who says black people don't love Russia?

and speaking of that...

New Rubin Kazan manager Javi Gracia (formerly of Malaga) says Yann M'Vila won't be back, and a return to Sunderland is likely:

quote:

“When I arrived at Kazan, there was a list of players to train with the first team,” he said. “They were not included on that list. “I can’t say at all that I am unhappy with them, they just weren’t on the list.” Kazan accept that they will sell M’Vila this summer, with both Sunderland and the Frenchman himself keen on a Stadium of Light return.

quote:

Kazan are willing to sell and M’Vila would like to return to Wearside, but it may not be that straight-forward. The Tatarstan club are unwilling to cancel M’Vila’s contract early, and his wages are thought to be around £100,000 a week – only half of which Sunderland paid last term.

But what about this....Vicente Iborra to Rubin?

quote:

They face competition for Iborra from Valencia and Rubin Kazan, who are both thought to have bid £6.7m. Iborra would be a replacement for M’Vila at Kazan.

Although the former Levante player has two years left on his contract, Europa League champions Sevilla are resigned to losing him. They only just managed to fend off West Bromwich Albion’s interest last year.

And since this is an all-inclusive thread, this bit from Shakhtar in Ukraine, or rather Netherlands where they played Belgian side KAA Gent today and won 2-0 with goals from Ferreyra and Dentinho.

Dynamo Kyiv beat Würzburger Kickers (newly promoted 2.Bundesliga side) 1-0 today.

Goal was scored by Oleksandr Hladkyi who just signed in May after his contract with Shakhtar expired.

Dinamo Minsk won 2-1 over Latvian side Spartaks Jurmala in Europa League qualifying.

Artem Bykov had a brace for Minsk, and speaking of Spartaks, their captain Nauris Bulvitis signed yesterday with Plymouth Argyle. England fricked.
