Reading an article on ESPN got me thinking about where the cups rate with each other and I thought of these two options. Which would you prefer for your club?

A. Win Carling Cup (or equivalent) and Champions League

B Win FA Cup (or equivalent) and League Title

I would think A would be the most prevalent choice, but the Carling Cup is so far beneath the other 3, I wasn't sure.

I think most LFC supporters would choose option B, at this point...

How can you win the Champions League when you don't even win your own league ! :angryfans:

I'd take the Champions League over > FA/EPL title. It's a tough question tho.

depends on your most recent trophies.

personally, I'd say FA and Leauge.

While the Champions League is more prestigious, I feel like there would have to be a greater sense of pride in a league title. The UCL is played in spurts, often with long breaks, and is basically a very extended tournament. The leagues take 9-10 months to complete and involves 38 games. Although, I guess you could look at the Champions League as a 2 year accomplishment.

I'd take option A...UTD might have caught up with us in league titles, but with a 6th European Cup...they'll never get close.

I'd take the EPL/FA Cup Double, although I agree with the comments about recent championships.

It's much easier to win the league than Europe. I want B badly, but I'd take A.

A) .5 + 4 = 4.5

B) 2+3 = 5

I think about it this way...

Option A gives you the secondary cup and the title of best in Europe...although you only play the teams you end up drawing.

Option B gives you the primary cup and true superiority over all of your rivals (because you have played them each twice).
